Before Krav Maga, Sonny took up Shito-Ryu Karate as a kid. He also trained Kyokushin Karate with his uncle who was a Black belt instructor and a Gurkha Contingent trooper in Singapore. He studied and trained in various different martial arts and fighting systems, including wrestling, taekwondo, kickboxing, Bujinkan Ninjutsu up to Brown Belt (4th Kyu) and also trained in the close range systems such as Wing Chun Kung-Fu and BJJ.

​In 2011, Sonny discovered Krav Maga and instantly liked the simplicity, effectiveness, and completeness of this system. Constantly improving himself he was promoted to become assistant instructor.

In April in 2016 after few months of hard work he finished Knife Fighting and Defence Instructor Course and Civilian Krav Maga Instructor Course.

After the passing of the late founder of the club, Krzysztof 'Kris' Szczepanski in September 2018, Sonny has taken over the responsibility to carry forward the legacy of his best friend and now is he the Chief Instructor of 123 Krav Maga.

Charles started Boxing at the age of 12 and was a member of the Camberley Boxing Club. He had exposure to other fighting system and martial arts such as Wing Chun, BJJ, before he found Krav Maga at 123KM.

With years of dedication and commitment, Charles completed his instructor course at Poland in 2018, under Master Tomasz Adamzyk. 

His passion for Krav Maga is that the techniques are based on street fighting, as a result what we learn and teach is explosive and structured for survival on the street. What we teach and train are constantly being tweaked and refined due to feedback by real experience from bodies such as Police, Military and Security Services. Charles has been a valuable team member and has constant input on improving and evolving 123Krav Maga.

Andy discovered Krav Maga whilst living and working in the US after many years spent training

in traditional martial arts including Tae Kwon Do and Kung Fu. He was immediately impressed by Krav Maga’s highly-effective self-defence and combative techniques and the clear logic underlying the system.

On returning to the UK in 2012 Andy continued to train Krav Maga under Nick Maison and 123 Krav Maga Founder, Kris Szczepanski. After several years of dedicated training, Andy was awarded his Instructor diploma by Master Tomasz Adamczyk in 2018. He is also a qualified Kids Krav Maga instructor and a rugby coach.
